I love plants and had persuaded Phil to drop into Hardy Exotics, near Penzance, to go take a peek at some that were likely to be too big and too pricey to be accommodated in our humble abode. It was however not just the plants that were the highlight of this visit. Within the walls of the poly tunnels there was a multitude of interesting vistas. Here in section 4, printed on the poly tunnel wall but fascinatingly visible through one of the leaves, this glossy plant sits. The plastic wall behind is mottled in such a way that it made me think of the retina of an eye or a cracked canvas.
